Marya Zarkout (she/her) is a Hoboken-based pole dancer, teacher and performer. Marya is a professional dancer, lifelong mover, and is passionate about helping others find their own movement. She is a two-time gold medalist at PSO pole competitions and has performed in various NYC venues including The Slipper Room and DROM.

Marya teaches pole at Lovely Lioness in Union City, NJ. With an eye for detail, her coaching tenets are centered around safety, technique and encouraging students to explore movement. Originally from Canada, Marya comes from a competitive, ballet and modern dance background, with over 20 years of dance experience and 9+ years of pole dancing experience. She is Pole ElevatED Level 1 and Level 2 certified.
